Who these terms cover

These terms apply to your use of devanova.in and to services bought from Devanova, a sole proprietorship of Abhishek Dutta Roy, based in Kolkata and Siliguri, West Bengal, India. By using the site or asking us for work, you agree to them.

What we offer

We offer consulting, design, setup and related services for businesses. The site describes services in general terms. The scope, deliverables, timeline and price of any piece of work are agreed with you in writing (a message, quotation or proforma invoice) before work starts. That written agreement wins over anything general on this site.

Checks, tools and the chat assistant

Our calculators, tools, idea check and chat assistant give general guidance only. They are not legal, tax, financial or investment advice. For GST, tax, registrations or legal matters, speak to a chartered accountant or lawyer. Results from tools depend on what you enter, and we do not promise any business result.

Payments

Fees, advance amounts and due dates are stated in your quotation or invoice. Work may pause if a payment is overdue. Devanova is not registered under GST at present, so no GST is charged, and each invoice states this. If this changes, the invoice will show it.

Your content and ownership

You keep ownership of what you give us (logos, text, product details, photos). You confirm you have the right to share it. For design work, rights in the final files pass to you once the agreed fee is paid in full. We may keep drafts and show finished work as a sample only if you agree to it in writing.

Marketplaces and third parties

Marketplaces such as Meesho, Amazon and Flipkart, and tools such as WhatsApp or payment providers, set their own rules, fees and policies, and these change. You are responsible for following them. We give guidance, but account approvals, listings, rankings and payouts are decided by the marketplace.

Limits on our responsibility

We take care with our work, but we cannot control market conditions, customers, platforms or third parties. To the extent the law allows, our responsibility for any claim about a service is limited to the fees you paid us for that service.

Using the site properly

Please do not misuse the site, send spam through our forms, try to break or overload it, or copy our content or design for resale. We may block access if this happens.

Changes and law

We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do. These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in West Bengal have jurisdiction, unless the law says otherwise.
